I just got an Infection very painful and my dentist recommended peridex mouth rinse. I thought he would prescribe antibiotic? is peridex good for an Infection caused from food being stuck there?

Mine never grew all the way in but I have a hole in the right side far back and the pulp in the middle swells and grows out and cover the hole . Now all my gum around that area swelled up so much and is kind of covering the wisdom tooth next to it

I’m not getting infection but just intermittent swelling that can make talking tricky/stiff. Will this help or is just a matter of waiting? My dentist doesn’t seem too concerned but it’s annoying!

my hygienist told me to just use a water pik for my wisdom teeth, with regular floss or brushing its so hard to get back there and the water pik makes it so much easier.

What about after wisdom tooth removal? I had 1 out and it got infected, now It's been 6 weeks and I still have a hole that food is getting stuck in. Now it's not sore I just swish round with water but I've got my other side coming out in 2 days and don't want another infection.
