Why don’t the “growing” regulations also apply to items for retail? Surely if the EU restrict fungicides/ pesticides in agriculture they should restrict these goods for sale too?

I refuse to buy any fruit/veg from outside the continent of Europe, there’s no need and all those unnecessary air miles. And I agree that Spanish garlic is the best!

The Chinese garlic is usually bleached in chlorine I’ve been finding it harder to find Spanish or French garlic I’ve started growing my own it’s super easy to grow in pots

Chinese garlic is often treated with chemicals banned in the EU, (REMEMBER WE ARE NO LONGER MEMBERS!!) and can be harmful. Spanish has a better flavour. Fact check it!! It's true!!
