I need help. My puppy is getting enough sleep we have a routine with the crate and everything. I have tried squeezing the toy and playing it on the ground, their size appropriate for his small breed, and he will play for 2 seconds and stop. I’m wondering if later will he catch on to understand that play time = toys. He’s almost 4 months. Anytime he bites me I redirect him to the toys. I’ve tried playing on the floor with me on the floor with him and while I’m standing but he still gravitates towards my hands and feet like as if he was taught that’s how to play. Any advice?

My 8 week old (7 Lbs mini Goldendoodle) does not care about food, including treats. He does eat but it’s more like grazing. Potty training success is not rewarded with treats because he could care less
