Mimi, the term chop shop applies to ANY nail salon that does low quality work, lots of fungal issues etc, bad looking nails that don't last. I've been to chop shops without any Asians working in them.

Chop shop literally has nothing to do with race. Oh my gosh. It’s a term used in many industries from my experience and describes “rigging” things up and no quality control. Smh.

the term chop shops out in the west coast is used to describe an illegal garage that takes stolen cars, chop em up for parts n then piece out the parts to the community for a low price.
