@1treasuredsociety: Sammy Davis Jr. was deeply affected by the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. He admired King’s philosophy of nonviolence and believed his death was a devastating loss for America. Davis often spoke about how King’s message of unity and equality needed to continue despite his tragic assassination in 1968. While Davis was not as publicly aligned with Malcolm X, he later acknowledged Malcolm’s impact on Black empowerment. Initially, he saw Malcolm as too radical, but over time, he recognized the importance of his message. Davis came to understand that both King and Malcolm played vital roles in the fight for Black liberation. #BlackHistory #CivilRights #JusticeForAll #EqualityMatters #MLK #MalcolmX #BlackEmpowerment #KnowYourHistory #SocialJustice #BlackVoices #ChangeTheWorld #Unity #KeepFighting #MakeADifference #trsd
i understand Sammy's mindset towards religion n his curiosity with Satanism. There was alot of anger towards how blacks are treated in America even though the majority were Christians.
