I'm Australian, the other night on the news CF47 spoke about the tariff he's added to Australian beef. He said that we (Australia) banned USA beef back in 2003 because we want to support our farmers. The reason we stopped importing US beef was because of our very strict policy around trying to keep Mad Cow disease out of Australia. We've so far been successful I that. up until around 3 years ago I couldn't donate blood here in Oz because I'd been in England in '88 - '89 when there was a break out of Mac Cow disease. I wish he would do some research & learn the real reason for things.
