All headers are like that. Use good gaskets and tighten them down. Run 20 min retighten. They will be 100 percent fine

i haven’t ran gaskets on any exhaust in many years. use the copper rtv glue. never had a leak.

easy fix no machining ,heat it up ,shim the difference,clamp down on a flat surface ,reheat repeat till true.

Most likely lasercut along the grain of the plate to minimise waste... should be rotated 45-90deg when nesting which will almost eliminate any bowing, but will create more waste.

Do the header manufacturers expect their headers to flex to meet the surface of the heads? I’ve never heard of anyone machining the surfaces of the headers before.

I usually use a gasket and bolts in that connection, they are surprisingly helpful🤔

I had that Problem in the past. I fixed it by doubling up on cork gaskets. Fixed it every time and never leaked.
