I’ve been solo traveling for the past 16 years on a mission to visit every country in the world — and I’m now getting close to my 150th country! Getting to this country count definitely hasn’t been a short or easy journey, especially because I’m not trying to rush through the countries. This has truly been a journey of a lifetime. For the past 10 years, I’ve been living a location-free lifestyle and working remotely, so I’ve spent most of my adulthood on the road. I always get the same questions, like:

South Africa’s economic challenges unemployment, inequality, weak growth and pressure on public services are complex problems that cannot be solved by blaming migrants. Research also indicates that removing foreigners alone would not come close to eliminating the country’s unemployment crisis. The focus should be on accountable governance, job creation, economic reforms, effective public services and enforcing the law fairly rather than turning foreigners into convenient scapegoats. Even President Ramaphosa has warned against blaming migrants for South Africa’s economic pain. #SouthAfrica #Migration #AfricanUnity #NoToXenophobia #Accountability
