Sometimes, people ask their friends for advice on where they can find the product for a better price or look for coupons, but the majority of the time, they go directly to a brand. It shows that you can’t take brand building for granted. Building a brand takes many years, but it’s worth the effort. It’s the same reason you can’t just knock off Nike shoes and expect to generate anywhere near the amount of revenue as Nike. It’s the swoosh mark that people are paying for.
