I have been working with Freepik for several years, consistently uploading and contributing my work, believing in the company’s standards. However, earlier this year I noticed that the compensation became extremely unfair — I was being paid up to 10 times less than on other platforms. This made me question the system I once trusted. After careful consideration, I decided to remove all of my work from Freepik. Following that, I attempted to withdraw my remaining balance of €140, but Freepik has been delaying the payment for more than three months, only responding with the explanation that “an error occurred.” Interestingly, this “error” had never happened before until the moment I removed my work. I used to believe that a large company like Freepik, which presents itself as professional, would have ethics and responsibility — especially when it comes to such a relatively small amount of money. Unfortunately, this experience has left me deeply disappointed. From now on, I will continue to share this story through online platforms whenever I have the opportunity, so that other contributors can be informed and decide for themselves whether Freepik is worth trusting...
