I find weighing myself everyday helps me massively. It’s become clear that fluctuations that I have previously felt like a failure over are completely natural and part of the process

Having an 8 pound fluctuation is not abnormal- deffo water weight. But remember you can also have a 6-8 pound increase overnight - which is still water weight 😉

weighing everyday is absolutely the right thing to do then work out your average weight for the week and compare that figure.
1kg swings are completely normal. our weight especially as women

If you were bloated day before, you probably were holding onto a lot of water which has now gone and water weighs a lot!

Look up the whoosh effect. Fat cells as they break down fill with water, once all the fat is gone out the cell and it’s all water it will finally break and whoosh the water/weight away x

I weigh everyday and the scales can vary up to 6lbs, it's so disheartening. Water retention, inflammation, period, so much can impact the reading. I take the readings with a pinch of salt now

Same thing kind of happened to me! I lost no weight for the first 3 weeks on 2.5, and then I took my 4th jab and lost 7.7lbs magically in 2 days! Haven’t lost any since, but starting my 5 tomorrow!

I weigh everyday and go with the weekly average to determine progress. I have noticed that salt, water, alcohol, carb intake and exercise can cause major fluctuations.

I have wild fluctuations too. It can go up 4kg overnight. I think it’s to do with inflammation and fluid.

I’ve decided not to way myself anymore. I’m just going by how my clothes are fitting as weighing myself became an unhealthy habit, and making me think what’s the point and then binge eating again

Good advice my lovely best way is weigh every two wk ..yr clothing will tell us ny losing weight ..weighing every day can make us anxious or disheartened. I go by clothing then weigh every two wks 🥰

did you weigh yourself at different times on both days? weight can fluctuate even just throughout the day and things like going toilet etc. can have an impact on the number too x

Water weight. You still loose weight while holding water. Once the water drops so will the scales

you said you were bloated, so it’s most likely water retention that you were holding onto and got rid out through the day, it’s not 8 pounds fat loss, fat loss and weight loss (inc water) is different

I’ve been on MJ almost 4 weeks and this kept happening to me. On weigh day last week I’d only lost 0.6lb and then the next day I’d lost 2.6lb. Also happened to me the week before with an extra 3lb..

you will always get a lowest day of the week if you weigh daily basically the amount you've lost in a week is the difference between your highest and lowest weight check out @BossFitAmy for more info

Body weight fluctuates daily due to a number of reasons. I’d recommend watching @BossFitAmy - she’s live most days 7-9pm and honestly makes everything make SO much sense 🥰

Some Of it is probably water retention 😊 your body will hold on to extra water due to maybe having extra carbs or salt and other things, usually lasts a couple of days then it comes down alot 😊

I always weigh myself first thing in the morning after a wee and always in the same place and I get this also I think it just depends on how much water our bodies are holding

I find that the scales are different if I weigh in different places in the house ie carpet v hard floor etc and clothes make a difference as well as if you've eaten/drank/toilet?

Ohhh I can’t weigh every day… so once per week or I even leave it 2 weeks. I think that’s it’s important to keep an eye on your weight for reference so you know you’re going in the right direction. Being a woman our hormones and water weight can play tricks on us ..x
