You should tackle the garage and then set it up as a donations area, once you have enough stuff call the donation place and see if they can organise a pick up, I know we can do that kinda thing here.

You can pick up book boxes from your local Barnes & Noble once they’ve received shipment. They hold 50 lbs & that way you don’t lift too much. Plus, they’re free.
