The first night I rescued my dog she slept in the middle of the bed on her back for 14 hours. I slept on the floor. I wasn’t moving her from peace for the first time ever.

I can’t even imagine what this poor horse has probably been through. It looks like he opens his eyes once to see once around him, but then immediately closes them because he feels safe maybe for the first time in his entire life.

That is the sleep of love, peace and happiness! People that treat animals badly have a special place in hell people that rescue them have a special place in heaven, being abusive and neglectful to animals is just like being abusive and neglectful to children. They depend on you for everything
