Unfortunately I don’t think this will work. Strawberry have runners they are like a vine and that how you get new plants. But I’m intrigued.

If I were you i would buy the take root hormone it’s cheap and it last forever cinnamon doesn’t do anything I’ve tried it many different ways also better off starting with strawberry starts

Did you use miracle grow? You shouldn’t use miracle grow especially on plants you plan to eat.😊
