I have a project I assembled before half the domino cuts. And now I can’t use the shelf and have to use it flat. Thanks Logan for this! Figured you’d have the answer!

Works the same as a biscuit joiner. Clamp a board at the bottom to rest and line up the tool.

Clamp or hot glue a guide to setup the domino with appropriate offset is how I achieve the same thing 👍

The base plunged vertically gives you a 10mm offset so when plunging into the corresponding parts you set the fence to the 20mm stop, on 18mm this means you just need to reference off the right face

I use the shelf for this. I clamp the shelf to the top of the layout and butt the domino to it.
