So happy I persevered and got through this huge furniture makeover! Now we have so much storage! It was so hard to decide on the paint color for this furniture because it was given to me by my grandparents and I want to keep it forever. So I went with light creamy paint color so it can be moved place to place and always fit in. HOW I DID IT 👇 • Klean Strip Premium ALL OVER to remove the old paint •Wipe with mineral spirits •Sand with 220 grit using Craftsman Orbital Sander • My friend Jessica taught me how to build a new base/legs! •Base: 1x3 red oak for the horizontal pieces & 2x2 red oak for the legs/vertical pieces •Stain: watered down Fusion Mineral Paint Woodwick (80% water to 20% paint).
