Im Portuguese in Sydney and for my money Saudade is probably the best Portuguese custard tart in Australia. Only one spot in Sydney comes fairly close to it

Mr Viet is okay but the best is out of the CBD in the western suburbs. go to nhu Lan on Hanson Rd (ba ria is also dope but just for a restaurant)

North Haven bakery for a Bahn mi, and Yiannis yiros on the western end of Hindley street... easily best yiros in Oz.

Decent feeds there, but you’re right about Bahn mi’s being a little trash in the ADL CBD. Have to head 15 mins out for any good ones to start popping up

Hains & Co. Great bar with the best sausage rolls. NOLA for fried chicken. Orso (5 mins out of city) for prawn buns and dessert
