Days old tiny Sandhill Crane colt trying to perfect being a big, bad predator 😁 These little ones grow very fast and in no time at all they are indeed learning the skills of a capable omnivore. We have seen these guys eat lizards, turtle eggs, snakes, insects and pretty much anything they can get a hold of 😁 Folks are sometimes surprised by what animals eat. Bears eat meat like deer, wild hogs or again, anything they can get a hold of. Even deer have been documented eating eggs and chicks! Many birds eat other birds.
