Viral di media sosial Kapolres Bombana AKBP Eko Sutomo diduga mencekik dan mendorong seorang pendemo dari atas mobil. Insiden itu terjadi saat massa unjuk rasa mendesak perbaikan jalan rusak di Kecamatan Mata Oleo. Kasi Humas Polres Bombana Iptu Abdul Hakim tidak menampik insiden tersebut. Namun, dia menyebut aksi AKBP Eko terjadi buntut peserta aksi beberapa kali mengabaikan imbauan petugas saat unjuk rasa berlangsung di Kelurahan kasipute, Kecamatan Rumbia, Bombana, Selasa (2/6). Hakim menjelaskan polisi juga telah mengingatkan massa agar tak membakar ban di tengah jalan. Selain itu, petugas meminta volume pengeras suara dikecilkan karena sudah akan memasuki waktu azan Zuhur.
