had that once. it was their work address, which was closed. They were 5 mi away, support told me to mark it delivered, keep the food. Lg meat pizza, 2 pasta dishes. huge salad & breadsticks & full pay

that happened to me last week. I called support on my way to the new address. Once I got through to an agent he was super helpful. Made sure I got paid by door dash for the extra miles I drove. He also stayed on the phone with me until the order was complete and confirmed delivery for me. I was really pleased . I don’t bother with the AI chat bots for big issues. They just can’t help the way they need to.

I had one send me to a Mexican restaurant, I get there then they done walked to a danm chicken plant about 2 blocks away. I left the order at the restaurant and let them go get it

You can drop the order off at the designated address then call dash support. They don’t make you take it to the new house.

I hope you asked for more pay bc that’s what is happening or you tell them you’re refusing to deliver to the longer address bc that is not what you accepted the order for and its additional time and mileage. They should give you a bump
