Church is good for fellowship but relationship with God is better. Remember church is a hospital and people are human so you also have to learn boundaries so you don’t get taken advantage of.

I don’t think we should underestimate the impact of spiritual abuse. If someone has been through that, so much so they no longer want to go to church. Then time & grace should be given to heal
