PREGNANCY DISCHARGE COLOURS IN EARLY PREGNANCY 🫄 🫃 🤰 Not every change in v@ginal discharge during early pregnancy means something is wrong. The colour, smell, and symptoms that come with it matter. Clear or milky white: Usually normal, especially if there is no bad smell, itching, or burning. White and thick: Can happen because of increased vaginal discharge in pregnancy. If it comes with intense itching or soreness, it could be a yeast infection. Yellow or green: May be a sign of an infection, especially if there is a bad smell, itching, burning, or pain. See a healthcare professional. Pink or light brown: Can happen when there is a small amount of blood mixed with discharge. It is worth informing your healthcare provider, especially in early pregnancy. Red or bright blood: This means there is bleeding. Heavy bl33ding, severe abdominal pain, dizziness, fainting, or shoulder pain needs urgent medical attention. Grey with a strong fishy smell: May suggest a vaginal infection and should be checked. Important: Discharge alone cannot confirm whether a pregnancy is healthy or not. If you are pregnant and notice a new or unusual discharge, especially with pain, bleeding, fever, or a bad smell, contact your healthcare provider. This information is for educational purposes only.
