Pro-tip: you can add non-steam games to your steam library and the steam overlay will work with (most of) them

I'm envious of the people not knowing the keybinds because I found out from day 1 because I was shift walking in CS and pressed tab to see my stats and died because the overlay poped up.

Even if you didn’t know about the overlay, how have all these people not accidentally opened it while in a high stakes game moment. Like trying to sprint and open inventory or a quest book at the same time.

If you don’t know how to open overlay then you don’t play games, there’s no way you haven’t been running in a game and tried to open inventory or something at the same time by now

I have mine set as Alt + F4 for some reason it doesn't work it just closes my game, hopefully they fix it with some new update that notes would help me so much

this is why steam is by far the best gaming launcher, Epic games strategy is only throwing free games at players. steam makes everything around the game good
