It’s a complete joke. They take it straight off your universal credit anyway regardless if you work I’m a 24 hour caregiver to my girl 365 days a year and I do not get a break

In Holland, family carers get 80k per year due to how much money they save the caregiving system. £83 a week is what carers get in the uk and we save the government billions

A full time carer can’t work because of caring responsibilities. Then the UC takes CA from them! They work 24/7 for less than £1 an hour, how is that better off?

This only applies if you can find a job to work as well as caring. The Government are not giving you anything. All this means is that you can work longer hours, which is very difficult for some.
