@theplanttechie: What should I prune next? ✂️ First time pruning this pawpaw tree 🌳 and it’s already five years old! ⏳ Pawpaws grow super slowly 🐢. This one’s just a little shorter than me 🙋‍♂️ and I planted it half a decade ago 🌱. Because it’s still young and small, the only cuts I’m making are thinning cuts ✂️ to remove competing scaffolds and a bit of growth toward the center 🌿. It did flower this year 🌸 but since I don’t have another flowering nearby 🌳🌳, no fruit for me this season 🙃. Next year though?
