@ilovejeank: #jeankirstein || (posting this on the 7th American time) Happy birthday to my most beautiful, beloved, adored man Jean Kirstein. He really is a big deal to me. He always has and always will. Ever since I saw him in Season 1 Episode 3 at exactly 3:16 minutes into the episode, I’d love him forever. I’ll admit that when I first watched aot I didn’t see him in that light but always liked him as a character. It wasn’t until later when I understood his lore/ character development that I genuinely loved him. He and I are one in the same, down to some aspects of the personality and some habits he has (covering his ears when he’s overwhelmed). I love how he completely changed his whole life mission. At first he wants to life the cushy life in the interior but he chose to fight. He willing decided to leave that dream behind and do the opposite of what he wanted because he knew what was right. There has not been one character that I’ve fully devoted my time to. I’ve always gone back to him. When I start new shows and start liking a new character, it never sticks long enough because they genuinely will never compete with him. Never once have I said any other character within the aot universe is fine. I’ll admit they’re mostly attractive but none can compete with the love of my life. I relate to him in ways I can’t even explain in words. I am him and he is me. There are so many things about him that I’ve done even before watching aot and liking him. I love him so much it genuinely pains me. He really is a big deal to me and always will.
