1) AC2 did no such thing. It was never said that the characters from statues were assassins or that they founded the creed. They were just people who killed famous tyrants.

…you’re wrong on both counts. The people in that room were not assassins originally. They were inspirations for the brotherhood of the Levantine era. Darius was not an assassin or a member cont.
