we've always just called it a burn knot. 😂 but boy is was a bad day for a grunt who couldn't learn that one and thought they were gonna hold wire or a full set of 9 ton rigging coming down. 😂

Burn knot works great. That handline hook in the grip will bite you in the ass one day. They will straighten out. Better off to tie into the grip than use the hook or dog leash.

In transmission we use it to drop bundle dollies but you have to double it up to help out with the weight of them suckers!
