@caleglendening: Michael Rooker as Major Thomas Riordan I loved getting to know Rooker. If there’s such a thing as “the class clown” on set, it’s him. One day, I was walking around Fort Gallant, and I stumbled upon Rooker rehearsing his lines in this dark room. And at the time it was just being used for staging cast to get them out of the hot sun having a nice cool place to relax. In my film shots you can’t even see the desk and you can barely make out the deer, so what was I going to do with such extreme back light. As I’m setting up my light for the portrait, Rooker sit down in the chair with a whiskey glass and bottle, and pours himself a drink, to my surprise. I’m sitting here getting worried because they marked these bottles for continuity but Rooker assures me that he’s gonna pour very carefully back in the bottles and no one‘s gonna know. And I have another dozen stories like this with Rooker but I’m gonna save those for another time. @horizonamericansaga #michaelrooker #horizonanamericansaga
