About time, now they just need to sort out paternity pay so the father can be at home to support the mother for longer, it’s hard enough for both parents without sending one out to work full time!

They also need to look into mums going back to work that are still breastfeeding I've been told it's up to my managers discretion if I can have extra time to exspress milk at work 🤬

One of my premature twin daughter needed this care at 4 weeks old I went through this all by myself because he had to work, this was needed but I think should apply upto 12w of premie babies life.

This was needed long ago, we had our baby girl at 26 weeks and a 3 month nicu stay, it was so hard to manage with a toddler aswell

Wish this was in force last year when I had my little one my parter just got his standard 2 weeks and that was in and out little went straight into icu after being born
