Before laying did you check the tiles passed relevant standards and had sufficient tensile strength for the job 🤔 Unfortunately this is entirely your fault if they do not pass 🤔😳

As a sparky who installs a lot of underfloor heating, I’d always recommend “decoupling matting”, eliminates cracking although you probably already know. Why wasn’t it used tho is the question

If you drill a circular hole then grind out the straight angle to it leaving a curve in the corner it’s stronger. 90degree is a weak point.

Cracking only happens when you cut l. I’m telling you it’s because Ukraine war. There raw clay material in Ukraine needed for tiles. Now every tiling firm our going to other countries. Them cracks was there when you cut them you just didn’t see them. Read it on Google about Ukraine has stopped supplying. I got paid twice of shops because I now this reason

That’s a bad batch, manufacturer is responsible 100%. If it were anything else then there wouldn’t be anywhere near the amount of cracks.

🙄Knock on the tiles. If it's a hollow sound you 🦆Ed up! If it sounds solid, the floor has moved🙂. If the tiles are solid, you get paid to tile it again😁. If not you pay to tile it again😔.

It's probably not the porcelain that's the issue—it could be a number of other factors. If you have a video of the job, we might be able to help figure out what went wrong. When tiling over underfloor heating, keep in mind that because the heat is transmitted from beneath the tile upwards, most tile adhesives require an additive to handle the thermal movement. It's worth looking into that as well.

sharp cuts on a large surface are at risk of cracking, even if you used a matt , unfortunately, but that's how it is, you could have used metal corners Lglued them onto the resin under the tiles🤝

How long was the heating on for before you tiled? I thought it was best practise to allow the heating a couple of weeks to dry the floor out completely.

Hour skirtings are also tight to tile so when the heating comes on the floor rises and that causes cracks

my guess it's movement in the screed, if its been screeded on celotex and hasn't been secured/fixed down laid with reinforcement and/or less than 75mm then the flex/movement in screed is over toleranc

There is tension in all tiles. If you dont drill the corner before cutting into the drill hole, this can happen. More likely in certain tiles. Nothing got to do with thermal shock. Just incorectly cut
