At that price a Honda ridgeline would be a better buy. 280hp, 3.5L V6, 9 speed automatic, 5,000lbs towing capacity, 18city 24highway. A better reliability rating.

The FORD MAVERICK was advertised for $19K but dealerships markups added $10K so CORPORATE FORD stopped dealer markup and made MSRP $10K more..

of course this little truck was 23k-32k of course now they are 35k-45k now of course people don't want to pay 40k for little truck anymore of course we will buy a used 1/2 ton now

I was recently in the truck market and disappointed with the finishes and drive of the Ranger. I bought a GMC Canyon for slightly more and have been happy. 7700lb tow capacity too 🤷♀️
