I was diagnosed with this at 30 and now I’m 38. I use Minoxidil and granted it does help but lately I have had a hard time committing to using it daily . I’m always skipping days at a time . It’s funny bc it helps but im still thin in those areas . I guess it would look worse if I just didn’t use it at all. I just want my hair to be normal again 😩

For me it’s started with thinning hair and really bad shedding. Then I noticed my forehead was getting bigger and you can see the different colour of the skin where it’s receded back. The entire circumference of my hairline has gone back all around my scalp.

I have it for past year bc of high androgens with sudden oily hair. I was put on spironolactone and topical minoxidil/finasteride and after a month fiiiinally my hair is not oily… hope growth comes back too. I feel you!

Dude I have an appointment to the dermatologist next Monday, I'm going for acne. but I just realized that the baby hairs I've had ever since I was a child are thinning and basically I have less hair on the sides (like men do). I have a LOT of hair, it grows a lot, but on the sides it's starting to show some skin and hair seems weakened, I'm kinda scared ngl.
