You can most definitely request ppl to wear those colors or pastels or whatever! However, as a guest most of the time I try to avoid wearing what the bridal party is wearing, just so they stand out

I would request people wear formals for the wedding rather than specific colors. Like “no jeans or shorts” type thing. And you can make a dos and don’t of what to wear. Most appreciate the guidance.

my cousin did buffet style and had the maid of honor call out the tables so it wasn’t chaotic! might be a good idea!! also yes do a list of colors! it made my cousins wedding photos soo beautiful

10000% entirely acceptable to put a “dress code” on invitations!!!! It’s your wedding and will be YOUR pictures. Every wedding I’ve been to have a little dress code to let guests know the vibe of attire!
