As a Cosmo who’s done TONS of kids hair- I suggest a balayage of some sort! LOW upkeep! And it keeps it off the scalp! I think it would be a great in between for both of you to be happy!

I used to use the John freeda shampoo that lightens your hair to blonde. Super gentle and it will put her “in control” of her hair lightening
