I love the creative spirit. but you could have just as easily done a mural on a white or terracotta/adobe colored wall. also turff is brutal for heat. I'd just Xeriscape the whole thing if it were me

Also, you probably are not aware of this, but it’s going to degrade your wall faster in the heat. Mortar exposed to that type of heat is going to degrade faster so expect your wall to start cracking.

You live in the desert, No grass or turf. All natural big native bushes and trees for shade and native flowers to help local pollinators. Requires minimal water and maintenance.
