@fitnesswithkaila: I’m tired of having to explain myself, that I’m not a “lazy pig” who sits around and expects to lose weight. I watch what I eat, and at least 80% of my days I eat in a calorie deficit (I’m only human). Hi, I have hypothyroidism and struggled to lose weight for ages. Flogging yourself at the gym etc actually does the opposite for us. I've managed to lose nearly 20kilos now.

Don’t do high intensity exercices with hypothyroïdism it stresses your thyroid so bad do low intensity and eat Hashimoto friendly u will see the différence we are together

Cutting out gluten and dairy really helped me 💓 low impact exercises too. Be gentle on yourself, a lot of it can be inflammation.

Shouldn’t be touching white rice with insulin resistance. Look up diets specifically for that & that will help a lot. I know cus I also had to to drastically change my diet to reverse insulin resistance & had to do SO MUCH research and blood sugar testing

IR and hypo aswell, similar body type, in my 40s. I gave up trying to improve my figure ages ago. Focusing on my mental health, living my life to the fullest now. No gym, just pilates, long, slow walks in nature and the beach, just hobbies, no training. Healthy eating but never hungry. No goals. Just calm and happy 🥰
