@therabbitpals: 18 days ago, when I first posted about Jack, many people said he should be put down. That he wouldn’t recover. That he’d never walk again. That euthanasia was the kindest option. But we saw something else. And we gave him a chance. Since March 22, Jack has gone through: • Wrapping and physical therapy • Weight training • Daily massages and heat therapy • Wire therapy on his cage floor to improve balance and control And today—April 9—this is where we are. His back legs are phenomenal. He’s developing a strong, healthy curve in his spine, and his mobility is improving every day. His front legs still need work, but he’s getting stronger. We’re even exploring stair work to help him build bracing strength and control up front. This was Jack’s outdoor session today, and just seeing him move like this is an unbelievable milestone. I’m so glad we didn’t listen to the noise. His progress in just 18 days is incredible—and a reminder that sometimes, all they need is a chance.
