I think there is a “armored jacket” made by alpinestar that is made to be worn under a hood? Not as affective as a leather jacket, but will protect your joints

probably gonna use my welding jacket for a riding jacket. its leather and better than the actual riding jackets I have. plus it's longer and fits me better.

Completely agree, I go to work so don’t wanna look silly but still gotta be protected, so I have boots, change into trainers at work, I wear jeans as have armoured leggings on! Gloves and helmet obvs, and then a armoured jacket, I have a top box on the back of my bike, I have a 125cc! So I just put my jacket in there when I get to work! And grab my coat!

I fell wearing my leather jacket and the rest of my gear except proper shoes and I stood up right away and ran to my bike (I was driving in around 80kmh) and my gear just has a few scratches but still in good enough shape to use it
