As someone from Germany do i think the tipping system in America is extremely wrong? Yes, but if you’re american and you go out to eat in America, you are aware of the system and that you need to tip

Im from Sweden. I tip if the service and food is good. You can live on your salary here and the tip is only extra.

I went out for a family meal with a party of 10. The restaurant applied an auto-grat and it was like a total of $20 on $250. I asked if there was a way to tip more because that wasn't enough.
