If you grew up that way and didn’t want to change to get out of that situation… then it sounds like a “you” problem. Military is always hiring, and trade jobs pay amazing. Change your life and then enjoy the luxuries on your own dime 😘

How about they spend their actual money on luxuries like treats and junk foods. We should be encouraging everyone to eat healthier, but junk food should not be paid by taxpayers.

Nobody is stopping you from buying the ingredients for all the delicious things and making it yourself. Why are we paying for you to have these things when people who are barely getting buy don’t get that luxury. Why? Because we have to choose ingredients for making meals that actually feed our family and the extra things. You don’t get what you want, especially on the taxpayers dime, just because you want it. Must be nice to live in that little mind with all your entitlement

You guys just don’t get it. It’s the beginning of policing all govt benefits people receive. Wait till Veterans benefits, SS, SSDI & Disability recipients are told what they can and cannot buy.

And when the person standing in line behind, you can’t buy snacks because they can’t afford it and they pay taxes, staring at a person who is getting free food and has grocery carts full of junk snacks are a privilege not a necessity

If you’re so worried about what Jesus would do, are you attending a Jesus filled church? Because the church is who should be helping the community not the government. My church houses the unhoused and does food banks every week. The church and the government should be separate not the same. If we don’t want the church doing the job of the government then the government should not be doing the job of the church either
