just be careful that it doesn't burn up the actuator. if it binds up the added voltage could smoke it. they make 18v to 12v conversion kits on Amazon for $20-30

if you're tearing that plate up sounds like you need some better operators I can see getting wires tore out every now and then

Cats electric quick coupler was junk also, operators holding the button when it was all the way unlatched or latched didn’t help

On my 331g the cover plate bent broke. Cause the those problems. So I got fabbed up a AR400F made a new cover. Works great. They cheap out with a36 for something that takes in debris all day .

I just took the whole system off and welded tabs onto the ears. Just do it by hand. working around a rock crusher, rocks get stuck in there and break the ram
