@rencaivano: I need help 😭😭😭 has anyone experienced this before??? I don’t know what to do and my GP just isn’t being helpful right now. I’ve been dealing with this hair loss for over a year now and it’s just getting worse. I’ve tried using dermarollers and amla oil but nothinggg is helping 🫠 #helpme #hairlosssolutions #hairtok #blackgirltiktok #fyp #alopecia

Vitamin D! As in deficiency but make sure you take this. Also, do you apply oil directly to your scalp?

You need to see a dermatologist asap, there are multiple forms of alopecia and if it’s a scarring type the quicker you treat it the better the outcome

I recommend letting them send you dermatologist because I was diagnosed in 2022 with ccca and if it wasn’t for me being quick and pressing my gp i would of lose more hair.

I recommend seeing a private dermatologist, the gp and NHS aren’t that helpful tbh

The issue is what they define as normal if talking about ferritin levels. For people who have no other issues, the normal range is from 10. However, if you are experiencing hair loss (cont 👇🏾)

They are going to say it’s traction alopecia but I promise it’s not 😩. It’s caused by scalp inflammation. This exact issue sent me to a derm got a biopsy and was told I have CCCA which normally starts I the center but can affect the hairline if inflammation is spreading forward.

I know you said your blood test came back normal but the range can be deceiving, meaning that if you’re near the lowest or highest end, there may still be an issue that needs to be addressed.
