@plantswithkrystal: Replying to @Eli🪡 If you have a slight stem on a leaf cutting, it may be successful to grow but the chances of you taking an aloe leaf, plopping in soil to grow, will result in rot. Luckily, aloe propagation through division is not too scary and they do root pretty well! Water 💦: wait 2 weeks to water. If you have no roots on the cutting, dampen the soil mix once it’s time to water. Soil mix: my typical succulent mix is a combo of half succulent/cactus potting soil and half bonsai jack gravel.
