As a fellow reseller, my favorite complaint about resellers is that we are “stealing from the poor” when in fact…WE ARE THE POOR. Why else would we be reselling?

I kind of disagree. As a seller, if someone offers me a 50% or more off offer on an item that has been sitting on my shelves for a year+, I may accept! Take a chance!!!

When I get a low offer I just want to send them a message saying " if you want it for that price than you go look for it" I'm in on making a deal but please don't insult me.

What gets me is when I have NWT items that people want for 40-50% off when I already have it priced for more than 50% off retail. 😭 No you cannot have this $150 item for $20 NWT.

What kills me sometimes is other resellers. I have a Y2K top for under $30 and she offered $8…. Everything on her page is $50+ GIRL COME ON $8 😳😅

as a reseller, it bothers me that buyers think we all have a $1-2 cost of goods. Where I live, cost of goods is much higher & increasing all the time. additionally, my sales are non-existent rn.

Also when you go to a normal store target, Gucci, whatever you don’t beg and beg for them to give you the stuff cheaper. If you can’t afford it just don’t buy it. Why people do that to resellers?

the apps like depop who let them offer any % off sometimes i’ll put in the description that after a lowball the price is as listed … no sense in telling me you’d pay $15 for a NWT aelfric eden sweatshirt. i did live sales before i was full time at the hospital and im fed up with people who don’t want things just bc it doesn’t “start at $1”
