I am 16 years old. I started working in a clothing workshop that embroiders garments because I needed money to pay for school. After a week, I wanted to leave because I noticed that people there used a lot of vulgar and inappropriate language. On the internet, the business appeared professional and respectable, but when I got there, I saw that there were only three workers. After one week, I decided to quit because that kind of language and environment is not at my level. The female boss, who also spoke in a vulgar way, did not pay me for the work I had done. She took advantage of me because I was a minor and I was working without insurance. The moment I left that job, I felt very unwell. My legs were shaking and my vision became blurry. On the bus, I met some girls who were 22 years old and they tried to calm me down. When they found out where I had been working, they told me that they had worked there too and wanted to leave for the same reasons, and that the boss had not paid them either. This is one of the saddest experiences I have ever had.
