It also helps to fight off infections and bacteria 🦠🐱💥🌷 It can differ from person to person and throughout your cycle, but healthy discharge is usually: 💧Clear, white, or slightly yellow 💧Odorless or only have a faint smell 💧Wet and slippery, sticky and gooey, or thick and creamy The amount of discharge also varies, but it’s typical to notice around .5 to 1 tsp or 2.5 to 5 ml of discharge in your 🩲 every day. You usually get heavier discharge during pregnancy, if you're “active” or if you're using birth control. It's often slippery and wet for a few days between your periods (when you ovulate). 
If you notice a change in the way that your discharge looks, smells, or feels, then it could be a sign that you have an infection. Abnormal discharge might be foul-smelling, clumpy like cottage cheese, green or yellow, or accompanied by uncomfortable symptoms like pain, itchiness, or sores. If you’re experiencing any of these, make an appointment with your doctor.
