my mum went to the pharmacy to pick up some medication for me and saw a parent from the school my sister went too. they were chatting meanwhile the pharmacist started talking about how she was doing up meds for this young kid who had just been diagnosed with cancer and how they didn’t think they had long to live. she was talking so loudly the whole pharmacy could hear. anyway the kid was me… and that’s how our whole school found out I had cancer

I was waiting for a prescription and an old guy hobbled in, asked the lass on the counter if she had anything for sore feet. Pharmacist came out and asked questions, old guy pulled his sock off and I shit you not his toe came off with his sock and landed on the floor. I’m still traumatised by it and that happened 25 years ago.
