so they laid down and took a nap then the little girl woke up and went outside and got in the pool. I understand the dangers,but it was a mistake. The mother didn't do anything wrong. It is a very good lesson learned and they need to explain to the little girl the dangers of what she did and make her understand. To arrest the mother is uncalled for. That mother is very upset about the situation and scared and worried about her daughter. We all make mistakes we are human. I think from now on they will make sure to lock the doors so this doesn't happen again.

This isn't the whole story... she LEFT the toddler in the yard playing in the pool and went inside to go to bed. THAT is why she is being arrested! She isn't being arrested bc a toddler was being a toddler... she got arrested bc she was being a POS

so two parents who actually neglected their child safety and didn’t put a cover or on their pool and their child died are not being charged with child neglect, but she was sleeping in. Her toddler got out of bed on her own, went to the pool and her toddlers live, but she’s being arrested in charged with neglect…. This country is terrible.
