I have never had any kind of hormone anything. Ever, in my life. Not even birth control. My question is I am seven years into menopause and am considering a .25 mg estradiol patch and a progesterone oral. The clots are a risk so I am hesitant… What do you say?

I went to my gyn for estrogen & my options. He looked me dead in the face & say why do u want it, it causes cancer. I have severe leg pain & have had every test. This is my last option .

Oh I’m going to try this! The other thing I’ve been doing is using silicone scar tape over top of it because I find showering and sweating and life sometimes makes it come off too soon

My doc started having me swab with an alcohol wipe before adhering & it made a huge difference. Maybe my soaps, creams were blocking🤷🏻♀️

I’d like to ask your opinion: my gyno said you’re only supposed to be on hrt for no longer than 5 years because of the risk of cancer/stroke etc. I thought this was long since debunked and lots of drs on this app saying to be on it for life. What’s your take? Thanks 😊
